The Cow-Composition

Introduction: Animals and humans have been dependent on each other since the beginning of civilization. We call all the animals that are kept at home with humans as domesticated animals. Cows have been the most useful domestic animals since ancient times.

Cows in animal form: The cow is a mammal. It has two pairs of legs and a tail. The male form of this animal is known as bull. The bull usually has a hump on its back and moreover we see a pair of horns on the head of this animal. The cow is basically a herbivore. Favorite food of field green grass. Moreover, this animal is also fed straw or bichuli. Four stomachs are present in the stomach of a cow. These help in digestion of cow's food. Cows are very calm as animals.

Cows in human life: The role of cows in human life is immense. This animal helps us in most aspects of life. That is why this animal is different from other domestic animals. In the rural areas of the Indian subcontinent, cows are an integral part of the household. The people of the village are somehow emotionally attached to this animal.

The role of cattle in agriculture: Cows have been playing a very important role in human agriculture since ancient times. Using this animal, people cultivate the land with the help of plow, plant grain seeds and that seed provides another source of livelihood to the people. People use bulls to produce oil from the mill.

Milk supply: The most important role of cows in human life is the supply of milk. Cow's milk is one of the most readily available nutritious food for human beings. Doctors have included cow's milk in the list of balanced diet for children. This milk is used to make various products of the world. Usefulness of dung: The cow is probably the only animal in the world whose discarded waste material is considered necessary for human beings. Cow dung is one of the most useful items in human life. In various rural and urban areas, cow dung is one of the main sources of fuel. Moreover, dung is very useful for making plant manure. Dung manure is essential for agriculture. This fertilizer increases the yield of the agricultural field and nourishes the crop.

Other uses of cattle: Cows are used in many other ways in human life. From ancient times the bullock carts were used as a means of transportation. Rise in Price

A journalist once commuted that prices in our society are rising as regularly as the hemline of a modern lady's garments. What he means is that price-rise has been an unceasing phenomenon since the end of the second World War. Price of essential commodities goes up when there is more money in circulation in corresponding with the supply of articles and services. Thus broadly speaking, it is due to inflationary pressure. Rich men may have mania for making more money but the poor people, as Oscar Wilde has said, think only of money. So when prices of essential commodities rise, it is the common people that are more affected. For they have less purchasing power. So the phenomenon of inflation makes the poor poorer but the rich became richer as they get more money. As price index goes up, salaries of office employees go up or suitable dearness allowances are granted to cope with the market. In the meantime prices go further up as more money has come into the market. In this way a vicious circle is created. But the impact is felt pinchingly by the common people as essential commodities go beyond their reach. Indeed, commodity prices are generally linked with the staple article. If the price of rice, flour (wheat) or potato goes up, then that will push the prices of other articles further up.
So the best way to resist inflation is to increase production, both in agricultural fields and factories. India, however, presents a peculiar picture there is recession in some fields while inflation continues in many sectors. Inflation here is not invisible. Dishonest businessmen, by creating artificial scarcity of essential articles by hoarding, with the connivance of the agents of law and order, maintain the upward trend of prices. For India once presented the unique phenomenon of inflation with recession simultaneously. A section of economists apologetically holds the view that inflation is often the indication of brisk economic growth. As new avenues of investment are explored, as plan outlays increase, deficit financing and inflation are bound to take place. Under the Five Year Plan scheme, money is invested now where the yield would accurse about five years later. This is an irritant of inflation; likewise, huge amounts of uncovered expenditure in the budget and overmuch borrowing push up the price. Alongside, parallel currencies of crores of money work in the black market. So a very cautious and scrupulous planning is called for.

For the common people nutritious food articles are often forbidden. Fish markets are now scarcing. The authorities are often helpless in holding the price line, due to the machinations of vested interests. The Govt. expenses have to he curtailed ruthlessly and imports to be liberalized. The best remedial measure for common people is to organize consumers resistance movement and to check corruption. Common buyers would be politely and with cogent arguments persuaded and prevailed upon not to buy certain commodities till prices are brought down reasonably.

Dowry system-Composition-Essay

Introduction : Nowadays the horrible social aspect that holds the prominent talk in different dailies is the curse of dowry system. Many young married girls have become victims of it. Some newly married daughters are maltreated and tortured by their husbands for the cause of dowry. Dowry system originated in the society through feeling of inferiority for womanhood. It is really a shame that we are approaching a grim chapter of modern civilization.

Prime cause behind women oppression : Dowry system has virtually turned women into Inferior beings and commodities. Newly married young women are subjugated and humiliated by their husbands for the non-payment or deferred payment of dowry. In fact it becomes a cancerous spot in the body of the society and social organizations are breaking down due to this animality.

Socio-economic status of women in Bangladesh : Like other underdeveloped, feudal and backward societies the women folk of Bangladesh also remain at low graded life. The main reason is women s feeble participation in the national economy. Actually man's financial ability any independence is inseparably related to an kind of prestige. The women of Bangladesh are not economically Independent and they are de dent on the males for many reasons. Women of the two religions — Hindus and Muslims o Bangladesh are the victims of disparity in the hereditary laws. They suffer terribly from financial Incapacity due to this discrepancy. Again male dominated society where the clutches of so-called dowry system exists till now deprives women of their basic human rights and individuality.
Remedial measures : To stop women oppression through dowry system is the prime Job of all conscious people now. To tackle dowry system and women oppression application of law is very important. In our country, two laws are existing at present, such as : Dowry Prohibition Act, 1980 and the Cruelty to Women Deterrent Punishment Ordinance, 1983. In these laws there are strict provisions of punishment for handing and taking of dowries, women oppression and women trafficking. So Impartial judicial measures are to be taken in all spheres. Besides, social campaign. protest and prevention programmes of different public and private organizations should be launched urgently against dowry system. The need for women education and employment of educated women should be stressed. After all, poverty alleviation and drive against ignorance and prejudices are the preconditions of fight against dowry system.

Conclusion: To save women from the curse of dowry system is a burning issue. Women should be given due right and social status by removing the inhuman convention of dowry. For this man and woman of all walks of life along with women movement should come forward. So long as the very social disease like dowry system is not abolished, our women will not enjoy due feminine rights. Anti-dowry campaign should be started and people should be made aware of the evils of dowry.

Deforestation-Composition Or Essays

Deforestation is one of the greatest threats to our environment. It has many far-reaching effects on the environment. Many cut down trees indiscriminately but they hardly think about the serious effects it cause.

In fact deforestation means the act of cutting down or burning the trees in an area by which trees can be decreased rapidly and largely.

There is no denying the fact that trees are very useful to us many ways. They provide us with food, wood and other products. They also give us shade and help us to prevent drought and floods. But to draw quick profit from trees people of our country cut them down in a large scale and invite various types of natural disasters.
Deforestation badly disturbs our ecological balance and leads to soil erosion. Deforestation deprives us of fruits and timber and causes a great economic loss. If there are no trees, there will hardly be found a little rainfall. Then there will be a great change in the atmosphere. As a result our land will turn into desert. Trees take in carbon dioxide and supply us with oxygen which is the first thing to keep ourselves alive. So if there is no tree, there will be no oxygen that means the world will be lifeless. Trees are the main source of green beauty. Deforestation reduces this beauty and makes the world a barren land. In a word, deforestation destroys the ecosystem of the environment and makes the world inhabitable for all living beings.

Deforestation, no doubt, has not a single advantage but numerous disadvantage to our environment. So we all should try our best to stop it to some possible extent. Thus we keep our environment habitable and danger free.

Urban Life Vs Rural Life Composition

Urban life and rural life are quietly different from one another. Swimming, fishing, playing game in the field, running through the paddy field, drinking date juice in the winter morning can only enjoy in the village. These rare things are quietly impossible to enjoy in rural life.

The morning environment in the village is enjoyable. There are big playgrounds in the village. On the other hand, the children cannot take part well in various outdoor games due to the lack of playgrounds. Grass, grasshoppers, birds, rivers, ponds are the part of life. On the other hand, traffic jam, air pollution, road accident, polluted smoke emerged from vehicles, mills and factories, congested roads, loud sound from vehicle horn are the daily part of rural life. People can enjoy fresh air in the village but it is rare in the urban or rural areas.

Bathing and Swimming in the pond, canal or river, taking frits like guava, chabeda, tamarind , mango , jack fruit, mangoes etc. from the trees is a part of rural life. But, it is impossible in rural life.

Enjoying the beauty of nature sitting under the big trees at noon is possible in the village life but it is not possible at all in rural life.
In spite of having some exceptional facilities in the village, there are some slackness of facilities like the primary, high school and colleges education standard. But is is true that in the villages, students of these educational institutions begin their daily journey on foot but students of the rural areas go to their educational institutions daily in different kinds of motor vehicles. Besides, university standard education is rare in village areas that are available in urban areas.

Village life is full of natural light, air, food and vegetables. On the other hand, most of the things in rural life are artificial with red and blue light, gravity of electricity, tension, loud music etc.

A Complete Essay on Digital Bangladesh

'Digital Bangladesh' is at present a buzzword to the people of all classes of people in Bangladesh. It means digitalizing Bangladesh by ensuring an ICT-based society where information will be available online and where all possible tasks of the government and other non-government or semi-government organizations will be performed using digital technology. Making a digital Bangladesh was in the election manifesto (2008) of Awami League, one of the leading political parties in Bangladesh. In the 9th National Parliamentary election. Awami League declared to develop Bangladesh into a digital country by the next decade.

Bangladesh is an independent country. She achieved her freedom about 43 years ago. But still she is burdened with many problems like poverty, overpopulation, unemployment. corruption, food deficit natural calamities, power crisis etc. Considering all these, the present government has aimed at making a digital Bangladesh to overcome most of these problems. The motto of digital Bangladesh is to establish technology-based digital governance, e-commerce, e-agriculture, e-production, e-education, etc. emphasizing the overall development of the country and the nation.

The benefits of digital Bangladesh are many. If we can establish a digital Bangladesh. corruption will be drastically reduced by enhancing transparency and accountability. It will save people's time and money and will make people more enterprising and thus will reduce the unemployment problem. It will make people think globally and connect them with the whole world economically, politically, socially, academically and even culturally. It will open doors for the people to improve their conditions. It will also improve banking and financial activities. Money transfer and transactions of business could be made within seconds by clicking the mouse of a computer. Agriculture, health, education, commerce all these sectors will be highly benefited by making Bangladesh a digital country.

For translating this dream of digital Bangladesh. Into reality, the government has to take certain initiatives. First of all, uninterrupted power supply has to be ensured. We have to develop computer network infrastructures throughout the country. We also have to train our people to acquire ICT skill and to ensure equitable access to digital governance services in all the strata of society. Digital governance will curb crime and corruption and pave the way for our country's rapid development.

So, to see our country as a digital one, government's commitment and people's cooperation are urgently required. The government should take steps to spread ICT education throughout the country. Our education should be computer-based and at primary and secondary schools students should get easy access to the computer.

In the long run, making a digital Bangladesh by 2021 is one of the commitments of the present government. If the government adheres to this commitment, our dream of a digital Bangladesh will be materialized and our country will be able to make progress in all sectors by leaps and bounds. It will be no exaggeration to say that the emergence of a digital Bangladesh can help us uphold ourselves as one of the developed countries in the world by the next decade.

Essay on My Favourite Book

Introduction : I have not read much. I cannot read any and every book; I read only what I like very much. I like reading, for example, the poems of Nazrul and Tagore, the short stories of Tolstoy, the tales of Sherlock Holmes. And if I am asked to name one book as my favourite, I would mention Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens.

Story and main character : Mr. Pickwick is the central character of the story. But in this book the story is rather unimportant. It is the detachd incidents, that absorb my interest. Mr. Pickwick with his three associates Messrs Tupma, Shod-grass and Winkle forms the Pickwick Club. The story revolves round these Pickwickians; and how the PickwIckians meet with one experience after another and how they behave and react keep me eagerly expectant and often set me laughing boisterously. The characters are very likeable sorts. Mr. Pickwick is genial and good natured and obliging. Mr. Wardle is generous and hospitable. Sam Weller, Mr. Pickwick's devoted servant, with his peculiar articulation, is also quite agreeable.

Why I like it : And as the story draws to its end, everything is concluded to the satisfaction of everybody. The conversations contained in the book are an example in themselves, they illustrate what has been called Pickwickian humour in literary language. For all this, 'Pickwick Papers' is my favourite book. I have read it many times. Every time it gives me immense pleasure and new experience. It also increases my interest to such an extent that I have got more Interest to read books and books.

Conclusion : Whenever I am in low spirits or out of sorts I turn over some of the pages of this book and feel quite right and fresh. I cannot think that the book will seem to be dull even if I read it one hundred times. So this is my favourite book above all other books whatever. And I suppose similar feelings are cherished by a thousand others who have gone through it. It must be their favourite book as well.
