Railway Station-Paragraph

A railway station is part and parcel of train communication of a country. It is a place where trains stop and start from. There is a platform here. Passengers get down and get into a train from a railway station. The buildings of a station are generally made of red bricks. One can see from a distance the green, red and blue signal and painted houses of a station. There are waiting rooms for male and female passengers. There are ticket counter, the booking office for goods, restaurants. book stall and station master's room etc.

There are two or more railway tracks in every station. There are two signals-one inner and the other outer. Before the arrival of a train the pointsman gets them down. The pointsman moves with his red and green flags. There are stands for rickshaws, auto-rickshaws and other vehicles in a railway station. Before the arrival of a train passengers stand in a line to buy their tickets. When a train arrives, the station becomes busy and noisy. When a train leaves the station, it again becomes calm and quiet.

Urban Life Vs Rural Life Composition

Urban life and rural life are quietly different from one another. Swimming, fishing, playing game in the field, running through the paddy field, drinking date juice in the winter morning can only enjoy in the village. These rare things are quietly impossible to enjoy in rural life.

The morning environment in the village is enjoyable. There are big playgrounds in the village. On the other hand, the children cannot take part well in various outdoor games due to the lack of playgrounds. Grass, grasshoppers, birds, rivers, ponds are the part of life. On the other hand, traffic jam, air pollution, road accident, polluted smoke emerged from vehicles, mills and factories, congested roads, loud sound from vehicle horn are the daily part of rural life. People can enjoy fresh air in the village but it is rare in the urban or rural areas.

Bathing and Swimming in the pond, canal or river, taking frits like guava, chabeda, tamarind , mango , jack fruit, mangoes etc. from the trees is a part of rural life. But, it is impossible in rural life.

Enjoying the beauty of nature sitting under the big trees at noon is possible in the village life but it is not possible at all in rural life.

In spite of having some exceptional facilities in the village, there are some slackness of facilities like the primary, high school and colleges education standard. But is is true that in the villages, students of these educational institutions begin their daily journey on foot but students of the rural areas go to their educational institutions daily in different kinds of motor vehicles. Besides, university standard education is rare in village areas that are available in urban areas.

Village life is full of natural light, air, food and vegetables. On the other hand, most of the things in rural life are artificial with red and blue light, gravity of electricity, tension, loud music etc.

A Scene In A Railway Station-Paragraph

One day I went with my parents to see my uncle off at the railway station. My uncle was going to Mumbai. He stays there. This train was to leave at 6 p.m. from Chennai. We reached the station by a cab at 4.30 p.m. We purchased platform tickets and waited for the train to be placed on the platform . My uncle possessed a reservation ticket. In the meantime, many other passengers arrived at the platform.

There was rather a crowd of men, women, and children with their bags and baggage's. Besides the passengers, there were other people like us who came to see off their near and dear ones. The hawkers and the coolies were busily running up and down. The station staff were also found to be engaged in their routine work. The train entered the platform. My uncle got on the train. At 6 p.m. the bell rang. The guard blew his whistle. the train left the station.

A Scene In A Hospital-Paragraph

We received a news that one of our relatives was very sick. He was hospitalized. My father got the name of the hospital and bed number of the patient. It was a Sunday. The children are allowed as visitors on Sundays. So my parents took me with them to the hospital. This is the first time that I saw a hospital. We got into a lift and landed on the third floor. Then we took a turn to the left, and reached a large ward having at least fifty beds.

Almost all the beds were occupied by patients. Our patient was a middle-aged man. He was a distant cousin of my father. He met with a road accident with a fracture in the ankle of his left leg. He was operated two days back by an orthopedic surgeon. Now his condition was better. I saw some other patients who had bandages on their arm, leg or chest. Perhaps they also suffered some kind of injury. The sight was not at all pleasant. I felt mentally sick, and was counting minutes for our departure time.

A Scene In The Market-Paragraph

I went to the local market with my father on a Sunday. I saw many shops there. Each shop was full of goods. Some were selling garments, some stationery goods, some food grains, some toys. There are also shops selling fish, meat, on vegetables. In the market, there was a big crowd of customers. Different people came from far and near, and purchased different kinds of goods.

Every one seemed busy. There was a continuous noise of the people's, voice that reached our ears. There were some people who were bargaining the price of goods. The shop-keepers were weighing and selling some goods at certain price per kilogram. My father purchased meat, eggs and vegetables. The purchased goods were packed in a bag, that he carried home. He bought me a Choco bar and a pack of drawing pencils. We returned home within an hour.

Fish Market-Paragraph

Every market is sure to have a fish market. This is a place where fishes are sold. It is an important part of the market. The people of Bangladesh are very fond of fish. So a fish market has a special charm for them. They are sure to attend the fish market if they go to market at all. So fish market is the most crowded place in the market.

The fishermen sit in rows.

They keep their fishes on the lids of their baskets to draw the attention of the buyers. Bargaining is the main feature of this market. The fishermen never tell their buyers the exact price of their fishes. They usually demand much higher prices. Sometimes exchange of hot words takes place for fixing the price. So there is a din and bustle in the fish market.

A Scene On A Road-Paragraph

One day I was returning from my school in the afternoon. The road was not sufficiently broad. But it was busy in traffic. Motor cars, motor cycles, bicycles, taxis, and buses were passing by the road. There were only two police constables who were very busy in controlling the flow of traffic. Pedestrians were found to take risk of crossing the road from here and there. Suddenly, my eyes fell on a blind old man with a stick in his hand.

He was physically handicapped. He rested one side of his body chiefly on the long stick that he was firmly holding. He was waiting to cross the road. But he seemed to be feeling scared of an accident, because the speedy vehicles may not bother for his helpless condition. And I saw, to my surprise, that a college girl, who was also waiting to cross the road, caught hold of the blind man's hand. She helped him to cross the road, taking the risk of road hazards on herself. I will never forget in my life the pleasant scene that not only brought me joy but also taught me a noble lesson.
